Ukuphazamiseka kwe-BIOS okanye i-UEFI Firmware Update kunye ne-Motherboard Flashback yoBuyiselo¶
A power outage, accidental reboot, or Windows Update firmware push that cuts off at 47% during a motherboard BIOS or UEFI update is one of the most dreaded hardware failures in computing. Because the Unified Extensible Firmware Interface (UEFI) stored inside the motherboard's Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI) NOR flash chip is the very first instruction code the processor executes when you press the power button, initializing CPU microcode, voltage regulators, and DDR4/DDR5 memory training before the graphics card or SSD even wakes up, a corrupted BIOS image leaves the computer completely brain-dead. When you press the power button on a "bricked" motherboard, the fans spin, the RGB lights turn on, the debug LED gets stuck on CPU okanye DRAM, and the monitor remains completely black (No Signal).
Despite how catastrophic a black-screen BIOS brick looks, your hard drives, SSDs, files, CPU, RAM, and graphics card are 100 percent unharmed, and you almost never need to throw the motherboard away. Nearly every modern desktop motherboard and business/gaming laptop includes at least one hardware-level firmware recovery mechanism, ranging from USB BIOS Flashback (which can reflash a motherboard with zero CPU or RAM response using a dedicated microcontroller on the rear I/O panel), to Dual-BIOS backup ROM switches, OEM Boot-Block Crisis Recovery hotkeys (Ctrl+Esc on Dell, Win+B on HP), or a $12 External SPI Flash Programmer (CH341A / Raspberry Pi flashrom) that reflashes the 8-pin BIOS chip directly.
Yenza oku ngoku¶
- Wait at least 15 full minutes before assuming a BIOS update is frozen or turning off the power. During modern AMD AM5 / AM4 (
AGESA), Intel LGA1700 / LGA1851 (Management Engine / ME), and laptop EC (Embedded Controller) firmware updates, the screen intentionally goes completely black and the system reboots 2 to 4 times while flashing separate sub-chips and retraining DDR5 memory. Turning off the power bar during that 3-minute black-screen pause is the #1 cause of self-inflicted BIOS bricks. - Understand that your files and Windows/Linux installation on your SSD or hard drive are 100% safe. A BIOS update only writes to a tiny
16 MBukuya64 MBSPI NOR flash chip soldered onto the motherboard. It never touches your NVMe SSD or SATA hard drives. (However, if you used Windows BitLocker or Linux LUKS with TPM 2.0 auto-unlock, reflashing the BIOS will reset the CPU's Firmware TPMfTPM/PTTPlatform Configuration Registers, meaning Windows will ask you to type your 48-digit BitLocker Recovery Key on the very first boot after you fix the BIOS). - Perform a Full Capacitive Power Drain and CMOS NVRAM Reset first. Half of all "bricked" motherboards after a completed BIOS update are not actually corrupted, their old CMOS NVRAM settings (such as an old XMP/EXPO RAM overclock profile or voltage offset) are simply incompatible with the newly flashed BIOS version, causing memory training to hang on a black screen. Unplug the AC power cord, remove the silver CR2032 coin-cell battery from the motherboard, bridge the 2-pin
CLR_CMOS/JBAT1jumper with a metal screwdriver tip for 30 seconds, reinstall the battery, and power on with only 1 stick of RAM installed in Slot A2. - Look at the rear I/O panel of your desktop motherboard for a dedicated "BIOS Flashback" button (
Flash BIOS/Q-Flash Plus). If your ASUS, MSI, Gigabyte, or ASRock motherboard has a tiny physical push-button on the back panel (or bottom edge of the PCB) next to a specifically outlined USB 2.0 port, you can recover a 100% dead BIOS in 6 minutes using nothing but a FAT32 USB thumb drive, even if the CPU cannot boot at all. - If you are on a Dell, HP, Lenovo, or ASUS laptop that went black after a Windows Update BIOS push, plug in the AC charger and try the OEM Boot-Block Crisis Hotkey. Most laptops protect a tiny, read-only "Boot Block" area of the BIOS chip that wakes up when you hold a specific key combination (
Ctrl + Escon Dell,Windows + Bon HP) while pressing the power button. - When preparing a recovery USB flash drive on another computer, ALWAYS use a small (2 GB to 32 GB) USB 2.0 stick formatted strictly as
FAT32with anMBR(Master Boot Record) partition table. Motherboard hardware flashback controllers are tiny 8-bit/32-bit microcontrollers that cannot readNTFS,exFAT, okanyeGPT(GUID Partition Table) drives. Using a 128 GBexFATokanyeGPTUSB stick is the #1 reason USB BIOS Flashback blinks three times and fails.

Inyathelo loku-1: Khupha "iSitena sobuxoki", ukuseta kwakhona i-CMOS kunye ne-DDR5 yokuKhuthaza iMemori¶
Ngaphambi kokuba ucinge ukuba i-chip ye-BIOS yonakele, vavanya ukuba ngaba uhlaziyo luphumelele kanye ekupheleni kwaye ibhodi yomama ibambelele kwiparamitha ye-CMOS engahambelaniyo okanye umjikelo omde woqeqesho kwimemori ye-DDR5:
- Khupha intambo yodonga lweAC kumbane (okanye ukhuphe itshaja yelaptop).
- Bamba iqhosha lamandla le-PC phantsi imizuzwana eyi-15 ukukhupha intlawulo eseleyo ye-5V yokulinda evela kwi-motherboard capacitors.
- Susa ibhetri yesilivere yeCR2032 kwisibambi sebhodi ye-motherboard (kwiilaptops ezingenayo iseli yemali, khupha ibhetri yeLi-ion yangaphakathi kwi-motherboard imizuzu emi-2).
- Zifutshane ezintsimbi zimbini
CLR_CMOS(JBAT1/CLRTC) izikhonkwane kunye nencam emcaba yescrewdriver imizuzwana engama-30. - Susa zonke izinti ze-RAM ngaphandle kwentonga ENYE eshiyekileyo kwindawo yokuqala (ngokuqhelekileyo

Kwi-AMD Socket AM5 (i-Ryzen 7000/9000) kunye neenkqubo ze-Intel DDR5, i-boot yokuqala ebandayo emva kwe-BIOS flash okanye i-CMOS ecacileyo isebenza ngokupheleleyo ** I-DDR5 Impedance kunye noQeqesho lwexesha** ukulandelelana apho
DRAMI-LED elungisa iimpazamo ihlala i-orenji eyomeleleyo/etyheli kangange-90 ukuya kwimizuzwana engama-240* phambi kokuba isikrini sikhanyise ngequbuliso.
Step 2: Desktop Recovery Method A, Hardware USB BIOS Flashback (No CPU/POST Required)¶
Phantse zonke i-mid-range kunye ne-high-end motherboards eyenziwe ukususela kwi-2018 iquka i-microcontroller ye-hardware ezimeleyo (ehlala ibizwa ngokuba yi-Super I / O okanye i-Flashback IC ezinikeleyo) eqhutywa ngokuthe ngqo ngumbane we-+5VSB (5-Volt Standby)* kaloliwe. Nokuba eyona chip ye-BIOS yosulwa ngokupheleleyo ukuya kutsho kooziro, okanye akukho CPU okanye RAM ifakiweyo konke konke, lo mlawuli unokufunda ifayile yeBIOS ebizwa ngokuba yi-BIOS kwi-FAT32 USB drive kwaye uyibhale ngqo kwi-SPI BIOS chip.
Kanye nge-USB BIOS Flashback ifayile ethiywa kunye nenkqubo yeqhosha ngophawu lwebhodi yomama¶
| Motherboard Brand | Marketing Name of Feature | Required USB File Rename Rule | How to Trigger the Hardware Flash | LED Blink Behavior & Completion Signal |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| I-ASUS (ROG, TUF, Prime, ProArt) | USB BIOS FlashBack | Qhuba iquka BIOSRenamer.exe tool inside the downloaded .zip folder (which renames the .CAP file to a board-specific 8-character code like R5E.CAP, SZ790A.CAP, okanye TB650P.CAP) and place it in the root of the FAT32 USB stick. |
1. Turn PC OFF (leave PSU rocker switch ON so standby power is active). 2. Faka i-USB kwizibuko elingasemva elinombhalo BIOS.3. Cofa kwaye ubambe i BIOS FLBK iqhosha le- **3 imizuzwana ** ide i-LED idanyaze kathathu. |
I-LED idanyaza kancinane, emva koko ikhawuleza njengoko ibhala (4 to 8 minutes). Success: The LED turns COMPLETELY OFF.Failure: If the LED turns SOLID ON and stays lit, your USB stick is not MBR + FAT32, igama lefayile alilunganga, okanye likwizibuko le-USB elingalunganga. |
| MSI (MEG, MPG, MAG, PRO) | Flash BIOS Button | Yithiye kwakhona ifayile ye-BIOS ekhutshiweyo kwi .zip archive to exactly MSI.ROM (all caps, make sure Windows File Explorer has "File name extensions" checked so you do not accidentally name it MSI.ROM.340) and copy it to the root of the FAT32 USB stick. |
1. Turn PC OFF (PSU switch ON). 2. Insert USB into the outlined rear Flash BIOS USB 2.0 port.3. Press the Flash BIOS Button once. |
Red/white LED next to the button starts flashing after -5 seconds and blinks continuously for 5 to 8 minutes. Success: The LED stops blinking, turns off, and the PC automatically reboots itself. (Failure: Blinks 2-3 times and stops, or stays solid red = incompatible USB drive or wrong filename). |
| Gigabyte / AORUS | Q-Flash Plus | Rename the downloaded BIOS file (e.g., B650AORUS.F31) to exactly gigabyte.bin (lowercase) and place it in the root directory of the FAT32 USB 2.0 drive. |
1. Turn PC OFF (PSU switch ON). 2. Faka i-USB kwizibuko elingasemva elinombhalo BIOS (usually red or white).3. Press the Q-Flash Plus button on the rear I/O or bottom edge of the motherboard. |
The QFLED light flashes orange/red rapidly for 6 to 8 minutes. Success: The QFLED stops flashing and turns off (or system powers on). |
| ASRock (Taichi, Steel Legend, Phantom Gaming, Pro RS) | BIOS Flashback | Rename the extracted BIOS image file to creative.rom (okanye PSPBIOS.IMG on select newer AMD AM5 boards, always verify on your specific ASRock board's Support -> BIOS page) and place it in the root of the FAT32 USB 2.0 drive. |
1. Turn PC OFF (PSU switch ON). 2. Insert USB into the specific rear USB port outlined for BIOS Flashback. 3. Press the BIOS Flashback Switch for 3 seconds. |
The LED begins blinking green. Wait 5 to 8 minutes until the green LED stops blinking completely. (Failure: If the LED turns solid green, the USB stick is not MBR/FAT32 or the file was not found). |
How to format a guaranteed-compatible MBR + FAT32 USB stick (Fixes 90% of Flashback failures)¶
Modern Windows 10/11 refuses to format drives larger than 32 GB as FAT32 in the standard GUI, and almost all new USB sticks ship initialized as GPT (GUID Partition Table) instead of MBR (Master Boot Record). Hardware BIOS Flashback chips will reject a GPT USB drive.
Run these exact commands in an Administrator Command Prompt (Windows) on a healthy computer to convert any USB drive (ideally an older 8 GB or 16 GB USB 2.0 stick) into a strict MBR + FAT32 recovery stick:
:: Open Command Prompt as Administrator and launch diskpart
diskpart
:: 1. List all disks and CAREFULLY identify your USB flash drive number (e.g., Disk 2, verify by size so you NEVER select your main C: drive.)
list disk
:: 2. Select your USB flash drive (replace X with your USB disk number)
select disk X
:: 3. Wipe the drive and convert the partition table strictly to MBR (Master Boot Record)
clean
convert mbr
:: 4. Create a small 4096 MB (4 GB) primary partition (so FAT32 works even on a 64 GB stick) and format as FAT32
create partition primary size=4096
format fs=fat32 quick
active
assign
exit
Now copy ONLY your renamed BIOS file (MSI.ROM, gigabyte.bin, creative.rom, or your ASUS .CAP file) to the root of that new drive letter, safely eject it, and run the hardware Flashback procedure above.
Step 3: Desktop Recovery Method B, Dual-BIOS Switches and Boot-Block Auto-Recovery¶
What if your desktop motherboard does not have a rear USB BIOS Flashback button? Check whether it uses one of these two built-in fallback designs:
1. Physical Dual-BIOS Switch (BIOS_SW / M_BIOS & B_BIOS)¶
Many Gigabyte, EVGA, MSI GODLIKE/ACE, ASRock Aqua/Taichi, and AMD/Intel workstation boards solder two physical SPI BIOS chips onto the PCB: a Main BIOS (M_BIOS) and a Backup BIOS (B_BIOS).
* If your board has a physical 2-position slide switch (BIOS_SW1): Flip the power supply off, slide the physical switch from Position 1 (Main) to Position 2 (Backup), and power the PC on. It will boot immediately off the healthy second BIOS chip.
* Pro Tip to Repair the Bricked Chip #1: Once you have booted into the BIOS Setup screen (Del / F2) using healthy Chip #2, go to the M-Flash / Q-Flash / EZ Flash utility, load your BIOS update file from a USB stick, carefully flip the physical BIOS_SW switch on the motherboard back to Position 1 while the PC is still powered on at the Flash screen (only on boards without single-BIOS lock switches), and click Start Flash to overwrite the corrupted Chip #1.
* If your Gigabyte board has DualBIOS without a physical switch (Soldered M_BIOS + B_BIOS): How do you force a switchless Gigabyte board to copy B_BIOS over M_BIOS when its automatic detection fails to kick in?
1. Turn the PC completely OFF.
2. Press and hold BOTH the case Power Button AND the case Reset Button simultaneously for 10 full seconds, then release both buttons. (Alternatively, hold the Power button down until the PC turns on and immediately shuts itself back off again, then press Power once normally).
3. This hardware power-interruption signal triggers the DualBIOS controller, bringing up a blue/black screen that says "Main BIOS is corrupted. The system will recover from Backup BIOS" and automatically reflashes the main chip.
2. ASUS CrashFree BIOS 3 / ASRock Boot-Block USB Auto-Read¶
Even on budget ASUS Prime or ASRock boards that lack a dedicated Flashback button, the first 64 KB of the BIOS chip is often a write-protected Boot Block (ASUS CrashFree BIOS 3):
1. Prepare an MBR + FAT32 USB 2.0 stick using the diskpart commands above.
2. Put the renamed BIOS .CAP file (using BIOSRenamer.exe for ASUS) AND a second copy with the original unrenamed .CAP filename in the root of the USB stick.
3. Plug the USB stick into a rear motherboard USB 2.0 port (black port nearest the PS/2 or top of the rear panel, never a front-panel case port).
4. Turn the PC on and wait 3 to 5 minutes. Even if the monitor stays black for the first 60 seconds, watch the activity LED on your USB thumb drive: if the Boot Block is alive, it will automatically scan the USB stick, locate the .CAP file, and launch EZ Flash to restore the firmware.
Step 4: Laptop BIOS Recovery, Dell, HP, Lenovo, and ASUS Crisis Boot-Block Hotkeys¶
Laptops are far more vulnerable to sudden BIOS interruptions than desktops because Microsoft Windows Update routinely pushes "System Firmware" updates automatically via UEFI Capsule Updates during a normal Windows restart. If a user closes the laptop lid or forces power off while the screen says "Please wait while we install a system update," the laptop bricks.
Thankfully, major laptop OEMs isolate an un-erasable Crisis Recovery Boot Block inside the Embedded Controller (EC) or Intel Management Engine / AMD PSP that responds to a secret key chord on power-up:
1. Dell Laptops & Desktops (Inspiron, XPS, Latitude, Precision, Alienware), Ctrl + Esc¶
Dell's built-in BIOS Recovery 2 / 3 stores a hidden backup copy of the BIOS image (BIOS_IMG.rcv) inside the hidden EFI Ukwahlulahlula kwi-SSD yakho yangaphakathi (okanye unokuyifunda kwi-FAT32 USB stick):
1. Khupha itshaja ye-AC kwilaptop yakwaDell.
2. Cofa kwaye ubambe Ctrl + Esc kwikhibhodi eyakhelwe-ngaphakathi yelaptop.
3. Ngelixa ubambe Ctrl + Esc, plug the AC power charger cable into the laptop.
4. Keep holding Ctrl + Esc for 5 to 15 seconds until the keyboard backlight lights up or the Dell BIOS Recovery Screen appears on the display (if the laptop does not auto-turn on when plugging in AC, tap the Power button once while keeping Ctrl + Esc held down).
5. Select Recover BIOS (or Reset NVRAM if offered first) and press Enter.
* What if the internal SSD lacks the recovery file? On another computer, go to dell.com/support, enter your laptop's Service Tag, download the latest BIOS .exe file, run BIOS_Update_File.exe /writehdrfile or rename the downloaded .exe / .rcv file to BIOS_IMG.rcv on a FAT32 USB stick, plug the USB stick into the bricked Dell laptop, and repeat the Ctrl + Esc procedure.
2. HP Laptops & Desktops (Pavilion, Envy, Spectre, EliteBook, ProBook, Omen, Victus), Windows + B¶
HP's Sure Start / Crisis BIOS Recovery works identically:
1. Turn the HP laptop completely OFF and plug in the AC power adapter.
2. Press and hold the Windows Key + B simultaneously (on some older HP models, try Windows Key + V if Win + B does not respond).
3. Ngelixa ubambe Windows + B, press and hold the Power Button for 2 to 3 seconds, then release the Power Button while continuing to hold Windows + B for another 10 to 15 seconds.
4. The screen will remain black for 30 to 60 seconds, the Caps Lock LED may blink, the cooling fan will spin up loudly, and the HP BIOS Update / Crisis Recovery screen will appear and automatically rewrite the corrupted BIOS from the hidden HP_TOOLS EFI partition.
* If the internal HP_TOOLS partition is missing: Download the HP BIOS SoftPaq .exe on another Windows PC, run the .exe installer, choose "Create Recovery USB flash drive," plug that USB drive into the bricked HP laptop, and repeat Windows + B + Power.
3. Lenovo Laptops (ThinkPad, IdeaPad, Legion, Yoga), Fn + R¶
- Many modern ThinkPad and Legion laptops include a self-healing backup BIOS that automatically triggers if you unplug the AC adapter, insert a straightened paperclip into the tiny "Emergency Reset Hole" on the bottom underside of the laptop for 15 seconds, wait 1 minute, plug AC power back in, and turn the laptop on (leave it alone for 3 minutes while it flashes).
- For Fn + R Crisis Mode on supported Lenovo models: Format a USB 2.0 stick as
FAT32, extract the raw.bin/.fd/.capBIOS file from Lenovo's BIOS update archive onto the USB stick, plug the USB stick and AC charger into the turned-off laptop, holdFn + R(okanyeFn + B), and press the Power Button until the USB stick LED starts blinking rapidly.
Inyathelo lesi-5: UHlangulo lweHardware egqibeleleyo, i-SPI eNgqongileyo yeChip edanyazayo nge-$12. CH341A Umdwelisi okanye iRaspberry Pi¶

ISILUMKISO ESIBALULEKILEYO NGEVOTI: 3.3V vs. 1.8V SPI BIOS Chips¶
Danger
Jonga inxalenye yombane wetshiphu ye-BIOS PHAMBI kokuba ucofe ixabiso eliphantsi CH341A umdwelisi weprogram kwi-motherboard yakho.
* 3.3-Volt Chips: Amanani ayinxalenye equlathe Q okanye FV / BV / JV ngaphandle a W (ezifana neWinbond 25Q128JVSIQ, 25Q64FVSIG, okanye MX25L12873F) baleka ku 3.3 Volts.

Inyathelo ngenyathelo kwiSekethe ye-SPI Reflashing Procedure (AsProgrammer / NeoProgrammer or Linux flashrom)¶
- Fumana itshiphu ye-SPI BIOS ye-8-pin kwi-motherboard yakho: Jonga kufutshane nebhetri yesilivere yeCR2032 CMOS okanye kufutshane nezibuko zeSATA / iindawo zokubeka zePCIe zetshiphu emilenze esi-8 exande (kaninzi ngasekunene ecaleni kweleyibhile emhlophe yesikrini sesilika

Verification Successful (100%), unclip the test clip, put the CR2032 battery back in, plug in the AC power cord, and press the PC power button. Your motherboard will roar back to life immediately.
Preventing future BIOS update disasters¶
Once your system is running again, adopt these four rules before ever flashing firmware in the future:
- Never Update Motherboard BIOS From Inside Windows (
ASUS Armoury Crate,MSI Center,Gigabyte Control Center): Windows background services, antivirus drivers, or a sudden BSOD can freeze the operating system mid-flash. Always copy the BIOS file onto aFAT32USB stick, reboot into the native BIOS Setup Utility (EZ Flash/M-Flash/Q-Flash/Instant Flash), and run the update from inside the minimal UEFI environment. - Disable Windows Update Automatic "Optional Driver / Firmware" Pushes on Desktops and Custom Laptops: To stop Windows Update from unexpectedly flashing your laptop or desktop UEFI capsule during a routine reboot without asking you, open Device Manager -> Firmware -> System Firmware -> Right-click -> Disable device (or enable the Group Policy Computer Configuration -> Administrative Templates -> Windows Components -> Windows Update -> Manage updates offered from Windows Update -> Do not include drivers with Windows Updates).
- Reset Overclocks (
Load Optimized Defaults) BEFORE Clicking Flash: Never flash a new BIOS while running an unstable CPU undervolt or aggressive DDR5 RAM overclock. If the RAM throws a single bit error while decompressing the new BIOS image in memory, it can hang the flash utility. Always pressF5/F7(Load Optimized Defaults), reboot back into BIOS at stock JEDEC memory speed, and then run the flash.
Imibuzo edla ngokubuzwa¶
After I recovered my bricked BIOS, Windows 11 now shows a blue screen asking for a "48-Digit BitLocker Recovery Key" and won't boot, what happened?
Nothing is wrong with your SSD or files. Windows 11 uses a security feature inside your processor called **Firmware TPM 2.0 (`AMD fTPM` okanye `Intel PTT`)** to automatically unlock your BitLocker-encrypted C: drive on every normal boot. Because reflashing or resetting the motherboard BIOS changes the cryptographic hash measurements inside the TPM chip's Platform Configuration Registers (`PCR 0 / PCR 7`), the TPM refuses to hand out the automatic unlock key until you prove you are the real owner once. On your smartphone or another computer, log into **`https://aka.ms/myrecoverykey`** with the Microsoft Account you used to set up Windows, type the 48-digit number into the blue BitLocker screen, and Windows will boot normally and update the TPM measurements automatically.
My PC booted into the BIOS screen after a recovery, but now it says "No Bootable Device Found" and cannot see my Windows SSD, did the BIOS update wipe my drive?
Hayi, uhlaziyo lwe-BIOS aluze lusule i-hard drive yakho okanye i-SSD. Endaweni yoko, ukulayita kwakhona i-BIOS ukuseta kwakhona zonke iisetingi zebhodi yomama emva kokusilela kwifektri yangoku, etshintshe isakhelo esinye sezimbini zokugcina ukusuka kwindlela ufakelo lwakho lweWindows lwaluqwalaselwe ngayo ekuqaleni: **(1) UEFI vs. CSM (Legacy Boot):** Ukuba ufake iWindows kwiminyaka eliqela eyadlulayo kwindala. `MBR` itheyibhile yokwahlulahlula, iBIOS entsha ayigqibekanga ukuya `UEFI Only` (ezifihlayo `MBR` iidrive); yiya kwi **Boot** ithebhu kwiBIOS kwaye uvule **CSM (Imodyuli yeNkxaso yokuNhambelana)**. **(2) Intel VMD / RAID vs. AHCI:** Kwiibhodi zomama ze-Intel 11th-to-14th Gen, iinguqulelo ezintsha zeBIOS zihlala zingagqibekanga **Isixhobo soLawulo loMqulu weIntel (VMD) / RST RAID** ukuya `Enabled` (okanye `Disabled` ukuba ubuyisebenzisa ngaphambili); ukuguqula **I-Intel VMD Controller** okanye ukutshintsha **Imo yeSATA** phakathi `AHCI` kwaye `RAID` izakwenza iWindows Boot Manager yakho ivele kwangoko.
Kutheni le nto i-USB BIOS Flashback ilayita ngasemva kwe-motherboard yam iqhwanyaza ka-3 kwaye emva koko ijike ibebomvu/luhlaza okomelele ngaphandle kokuhlaziya?
Impazamo ye-3-blink kunye ne-slid-light-light kwi-ASUS, i-MSI, i-Gigabyte, okanye i-ASRock BIOS Flashback ithetha i-microcontroller ye-hardware enikwe amandla, ijonge kwi-port ye-USB, kwaye ** ayikwazanga ukufunda ifayile **. Kwiipesenti ezingama-95, oku kwenzeka ngenxa yezizathu ezithathu: **(1) Intonga yakho ye-USB ifomathiwe nge `GPT` itafile yokwahlula okanye `exFAT`/`NTFS` inkqubo yefayile** endaweni yokungqongqo **`MBR` (IRekhodi yokuQalisa eyiNtloko) + `FAT32`** (sebenzisa i `diskpart` `clean` kwaye `convert mbr` imiyalelo kwiNyathelo 2 ngasentla ukulungisa oku); **(2) Usebenzisa i-USB 3.1/3.2 intonga yokulawula yale mihla etsala kakhulu init yangoku okanye engaphumeleliyo kwi-USB 1.1/2.0 enumeration** (zama eyona indala, ngexabiso eliphantsi 4 GB ukuya kwi-16 GB USB 2.0 ibhontsi drive kwidrowa yakho); okanye **(3) IiWindows zifihle ulwandiso lwefayile** ngoko xa utheyya ngokutsha ifayile `MSI.ROM`, ngokwenene yaba `MSI.ROM.340`.
Ngaba ndingakwazi ukuthoba (ukubuyisela umva) kuguqulelo lweBIOS endala ndisebenzisa i-USB BIOS Flashback ukuba uhlaziyo olutsha lweBIOS lwaphule uzinzo lwam lwe-RAM?
Phantse kuzo zonke iimeko, ewe. Ngelixa usetyenziso lwesikrini se-BIOS (`EZ Flash` / `M-Flash`) sometimes blocks downgrading to an older BIOS version if AMD AGESA or Intel Microcode security fuses were updated, the hardware **USB BIOS Flashback** button on the rear panel overwrites the entire SPI flash chip raw from sector zero, allowing you to roll back to any older BIOS version supported by your CPU generation.
