Addiction and recovery: support and guidance¶

Emergency assistance¶
If someone is currently experiencing a life-threatening drug overdose, severe alcohol poisoning, or an acute medical crisis, act immediately:
- Call emergency services: Dial 911 (or your local emergency number) right away.
- Administer Naloxone (NARCAN): If an opioid overdose is suspected, administer nasal naloxone immediately.
