2. Google Account Recovery (g.co/recover): How the Risk Engine Scores Your Request¶

Google does not have human customer service agents who can verify your driver's license over the phone to reset a free @gmail.com password. Instead, https://accounts.google.com/signin/recovery is governed entirely by an automated cryptographic risk engine that calculates a trust score based on four physical signals: 1. Exact Device Fingerprint & Browser Cookie: Always run g.co/recover from the exact laptop or phone browser where you have signed into that Google account for the past several months (never in Incognito mode, and never after clearing cookies). 2. Why innocent users get auto-banned by cloud AI scanners¶

Every photo uploaded to Google Photos, Microsoft OneDrive, or Dropbox (and emails/Drive links shared through cloud servers) is automatically scanned by perceptual hashing algorithms (such as Microsoft PhotoDNA and Google CSAI Match) and machine-learning classifiers: 1. Medical Telehealth Pediatric Photos: During and after the rise of telemedicine, thousands of parents were permanently banned by automated cloud scanners after taking a doctor-requested smartphone photo of their toddler's diaper rash, skin infection, or bathtub chickenpox to send to their pediatrician, which automatically backed up to Google Photos or OneDrive in the background. 2.
